Methodology
Programs at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology whose name or faculty matches the Business rules.Programs whose name mentions business, MBA / EMBA, marketing, human resources, supply chain or a Master of Management, plus the other programs of business schools — except their finance, accounting, economics and actuarial programs (finance and accounting have their own pages; economics is not classified). Engineering, construction, health, public and education management, and hospitality and tourism are left out.
Programs are classified by their English and Chinese names and their faculty, using a fixed keyword table. Interdisciplinary programs (accounting and finance, an MBA in finance) appear on both subject pages; programs we are unsure about are not classified and remain in the full library. Tuition ranges and the lowest IELTS only count programs that state a figure.
